Berkline has introduced its new series of recliners, the Concert series, at High Point Market from October 17-22. These recliners have integrated audio and wireless charging systems. These recliners feature two built-in speakers and subwoofers. They have tactile motors, which can either be used independently as a massage system or can vibrate with the sound. There are separate controls that allow users adjustments to each and every feature. The recliners also include a mini audio jack to help users connect to it their various audio sources, like an iPod, MP3 players, laptops and cellphones. This entire recliner system is slated to be priced at $699.
It has been developed by Fulton Innovation and eliminates the need of power cords by creating an electromagnetic conduit. This electromagnetic medium is combined with an intelligent control system. This control system monitors the power flow, enabling various devices to be charged at a same time. The eCoupled technology put into application here is absolutely safe for electronic devices, as it only provides that amount of power to the device that is required for charging. This also prevents overcharging of the device. However, the number of devices that are compatible with this technology is quite limited.
